Adrian Handbury

After gaining a degree in Agricultural Engineering at Writtle College, Adrian began his career in the industry 1992 as Irrigation Manager at The London Golf Club. During this time Adrian gained a thorough understanding of irrigation from the end user’s point of view. This experience was invaluable for Adrian’s career in the irrigation industry in roles which include irrigation design, technical sales, service and contracts management. This varied experience in the irrigation industry has given Adrian a broad and rounded perspective informing a practical attitude to devising engineered solutions.

After running his own successful irrigation design consultancy for some years, Adrian joined Irriplan in 2014 as Senior Consultant.

In his spare time Adrian is very involved with several local sports clubs on the pitch-care side of things, as well as being a trustee for a local community building. His other great love is cooking where he was even seen on ‘Britain’s Best Dish’ as a contestant in 2010 – although most people remember his appearance more for the fact that he tried poisoning Jilly Goulden!
